It’s Just You And Me (framed) - Original Watercolor Painting

Our arms around each other—
Like the roses petals tight
We drift off into gentle dreams—
Meeting again within the night
To fall in love a second time—
Having never left the others sight

Is it proper we feel this strongly—
Where we love each other twice
I love you, and you love me—
Two realms where everything is right
And our love becomes more steadfast—
When the darkness turns to light

This is an original watercolor painting of a pink rose— a closeup view of only the soft petals. I used some light pinks and whites so that it has both a cool, yet warm feeling at the same time.

The painting is framed with a double white mat, with the top mat being raised approximately 1/8” from bottom mat. Note, the opening size of the bottom mat is approximately 6 1/2” x 4 1/2”.

The black frame is a wooden composite material. The protective acrylic is both UV blocking & non-glare. I signed and dated the painting with an acid free pen.
